aint nothin like a georgia girl

November 6, 2009

went to atlanta about a year ago to visit some old friends. while they worked during the day i walked around and took photos by myself. i had never been to the south before and have to say i was mind blown by the genuine sincerity of southern people.

i found the worlds biggest chess set.

parkchessgood

and met some bros

walked past baker street

i figured no better way to see atl then by going to the trashiest strip club during afternoon happy hour. so i headed to clermont lounge.

clermontloungeoutside

its in the basement of the clermont hotel. 5 bucks for a beer and shot. the shots come in paper medicine cups.

i met chuck, the security dude. we broed for a looooong time. taking photos is strickly prohibited, but after talking for a while he told me he’d make an exception. he makes short films, and filmed me taking photos around the place. it was one of those times i had an uncontrollable smile from ear to ear. good peoples.

strippersrealtalk

this is danielle. she lives with her kids and grandkids. 12 of them in one house. she and i talked for 2 hours. woman had a diiiiiiiirty mouth. she told me she felt too ugly to be photographed. that was the biggest smile i could get out of her.

and quite the booty.

stripperbutt

i dont remember this womans name…but unlike danielle she enjoyed being photographed

so did this lovely couple; meet bill and his wife billy. shes been a stripper there for 20 years. they were married in the bar.

they love each other a lot

billykiss

they showed me their tattoos for a while. you know, just super casual mediocre stuff. SYKE. notice the gravestones of all his friends who have pasted.
