stop making fun of me trousers

June 26, 2009

spanky was going to the autumn bowl one day and wanted to bring the puppy. considering i had never really seen any of my friends who skate actually skate, i figured id come along. vander’s lil motorcycle workspace is in the bowl, so i went to hang out and snap some photos of him as well. i took a few rolls, so here is the first round of black and whites. i used my dads old canon ae-1, the camera he bought when i was born. figuring out how to use it when there is no light, and learning how to use such a strong flash in such a dark dusty place was a bit of a challenge, but its good for me to learn these things. so i basically experimented, hence each photo looking so different.

im sitting in my parents back yard in pasadena as i post this. for various reasons, mainly due to a lack of money, im going to take the next year off of school. so im going to relax here and take as many photos as i can for the next couple weeks until i go back to ny and need to, well, basically figure my entire life out. jobs anyone? cuz i got time.
